Winter — God Sends the Snow

Memory Verse "He spreads the snow like wool." — Psalm 147:16 (NIV)

Learning Objective

Students will learn about winter and how God designed snow and cold weather.

Lesson Content

Winter is the coldest season! God sends cold weather, frost, and sometimes snow.

Snowflakes are tiny ice crystals that God designs. Every single snowflake is different! God is such an amazing Creator.

In winter, many trees have no leaves. Some animals hibernate, which means they sleep all winter long! Bears, chipmunks, and frogs all hibernate.

God gives us warm coats, hats, and mittens to stay cozy in winter. He always takes care of us!

Hands-On Activity

Fold a piece of white paper and cut out a snowflake shape. Open it up to see your beautiful snowflake! Remember — God makes each real snowflake unique, just like He made you unique.
