Fall — God Paints the Leaves

Memory Verse "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." — Genesis 8:22 (NIV)

Learning Objective

Students will learn about the fall season and how God changes the colors of the leaves.

Lesson Content

Fall is one of four seasons God made! In fall, the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter.

God paints the leaves beautiful colors — red, orange, yellow, and brown! The leaves fall gently from the trees to the ground.

Animals get ready for winter in fall. Squirrels gather nuts and birds fly south to warmer places. God takes care of every creature!

We can enjoy fall by picking apples, jumping in leaf piles, and thanking God for the harvest!

Hands-On Activity

Go outside and collect colorful fall leaves. Sort them by color. Then glue your favorite leaves on paper to make a fall picture. Write 'God made fall!' on your picture.
