Spring — God Makes Things Grow

Memory Verse "See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth." — Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NIV)

Learning Objective

Students will learn about spring and how God makes new life grow.

Lesson Content

Spring is when everything wakes up! The weather gets warmer and the days get longer.

God sends rain in the spring to water the ground. Then flowers begin to bloom and trees grow new green leaves!

Baby animals are born in spring — baby birds, baby bunnies, and baby lambs! God gives new life every spring.

We can plant seeds in the spring and watch God make them grow into beautiful flowers and yummy vegetables!

Hands-On Activity

Plant a seed in a small cup of dirt. Water it and put it in a sunny window. Draw a picture of what you think your plant will look like when it grows. Check on it every day!
