George Washington was the very first President of the United States! We call him the 'Father of Our Country.'

George Washington was brave and honest. There is a famous story that when he was a boy, he chopped down a cherry tree and told the truth about it!

George Washington prayed to God for help. He led the American army to win freedom for our country. He trusted God through hard times.

We celebrate George Washington's birthday in February. His picture is on the one-dollar bill and the quarter! He was a great leader who loved God and loved America.

Draw a picture of George Washington. You can look at a one-dollar bill or a quarter to see what he looked like. Write 'First President' under your picture.
