David — The Brave Boy Who Trusted God

Memory Verse "The battle is the Lord's." — 1 Samuel 17:47

Learning Objective

Students will learn about David and how he bravely trusted God.

Lesson Content

David was a young boy who took care of his father's sheep. He was a shepherd! David loved God and sang songs to Him.

One day, a big giant named Goliath scared everyone. But David was not afraid! David said, 'God will help me!' David used a sling and a stone, and God helped him defeat the giant!

David was brave because he trusted God. When we are scared, we can trust God too! God is bigger and stronger than any problem we face.
