Daniel — The Man Who Prayed to God

Students will learn about Daniel and how he kept praying even when it was dangerous.

Lesson Content

Daniel was a man who loved God very much. Daniel prayed to God three times every day! He talked to God in the morning, at lunchtime, and at bedtime.

Some bad men made a rule that no one could pray to God. But Daniel kept praying anyway! The bad men threw Daniel into a den full of lions. Oh no!

But God sent an angel to close the lions' mouths! The lions did not hurt Daniel at all. God kept Daniel safe because Daniel trusted Him. We can pray to God anytime, just like Daniel!

Hands-On Activity

Color a picture of Daniel with the lions. Practice praying like Daniel. Draw a picture of a lion.
