Sharing — Giving to Others

Memory Verse "Do not forget to share." — Hebrews 13:16

Learning Objective

Students will learn the importance of sharing with others.

Lesson Content

God wants us to share! Sharing means giving some of what we have to others. When we share, we are being like God, because God shares everything with us!

We can share our toys, our snacks, and our crayons. Sharing can be hard sometimes, but it makes other people happy. And when we share, it makes us happy too!

In the Bible, a little boy shared his lunch of fish and bread with Jesus. Jesus used that small lunch to feed thousands of people! When we share, God can do big things!

Hands-On Activity

Practice sharing toys or crayons with a friend. Draw a picture of the boy sharing his lunch with Jesus.
