Helping Others — Being a Good Helper

Memory Verse "Help carry each other's burdens." — Galatians 6:2

Learning Objective

Students will learn about helping others and being a good helper at home and in the community.

Lesson Content

God wants us to help other people! We can be helpers at home by picking up our toys, helping set the table, and being kind to our brothers and sisters.

We can be helpers at school by cleaning up, waiting our turn, and helping a friend who needs it. Helpers make the world a better place!

Jesus helped people everywhere He went. He healed sick people and fed hungry people. When we help others, we are being like Jesus! You are never too small to be a helper.

Hands-On Activity

Practice helping clean up the room. Draw a picture of yourself helping someone. Make a 'Good Helper' badge to wear.
