Students will learn about the Liberty Bell and what freedom means in America.
The Liberty Bell is a very special bell in Philadelphia! It rang to tell everyone that America was free!
The Liberty Bell has words from the Bible on it: 'Proclaim liberty throughout all the land.' God wants people to be free!
The bell has a big crack in it, so it cannot ring anymore. But we still keep it because it reminds us how important freedom is.
Freedom means we can worship God, go to church, and read our Bibles. God blessed America with freedom, and we should thank Him every day!
Draw a big bell shape on paper. Write the word 'FREEDOM' on it. Draw a crack in the bell just like the real Liberty Bell. Color it golden yellow!
