Lesson Content

Today we are learning about the number 2! Hold up two fingers. Count them — one, two!

In the Bible, God called a man named Moses to climb up a big mountain. On that mountain, God gave Moses TWO stone tablets. These tablets had God's special rules written on them — the Ten Commandments!

God gave us His rules because He loves us. His rules help us know how to love God and love other people. Two tablets — one about loving God, and one about loving others!

Hands-On Activity

Cut out two tablet shapes from paper. On one tablet, draw a heart for loving God. On the other tablet, draw two stick figures holding hands for loving others. Practice writing the number 2.
