George Washington was the very first president of the United States of America. He is called the "Father of Our Country" because he helped start our nation.

George Washington was a brave soldier and a good leader. He prayed to God for help and wisdom. He believed that God was guiding America.

When the war for freedom was very hard, Washington did not give up. He trusted God and kept going. After the war, the people chose him to be their first president.

Washington showed us that good leaders trust in God and serve others. He is one of America's greatest heroes.
