Lesson Content

Look up at the sky! God made the bright sun to give us light during the day. The sun keeps us warm and helps plants grow.

At night, God made the moon and the stars to shine. Have you ever tried to count the stars? There are so many! God knows each one by name.

God also made the clouds. Sometimes clouds are white and fluffy. Sometimes they are dark and bring rain. God made the sky so beautiful!

Hands-On Activity

Draw a picture of the daytime sky with a sun. Then draw a nighttime sky with a moon and stars.
