The Miracles of Jesus — Nothing Is Impossible with God

Memory Verse "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" — Matthew 19:26 (NIV)

Learning Objective

Students will learn about Jesus' miracles and understand that He performed them because He is the Son of God.

Lesson Content

A miracle is something only God can do. Jesus performed many miracles to show people that He is the Son of God and that He loves us.

One day, a huge crowd of 5,000 people was hungry. A young boy had 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Jesus took the food, thanked God, and broke it into pieces. Amazingly, there was enough food to feed everyone — with 12 baskets left over!

Jesus also healed sick people, made blind people see, and even calmed a scary storm on the sea. His miracles showed that nothing is impossible with God!

Hands-On Activity

Draw the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Show the boy with his lunch, Jesus blessing the food, and the crowd eating. Write 'Nothing is impossible with God!' at the top.
